How do I make a website that can attract users, and more importantly, upload any pictures of the past? It should be always free. I know for hn, that's anathema, anyways. I want to host it on my own server and I can figure out the back-end. I'm just wondering how to start. What languages and paradigms should I concentrate on?

Naïve, I know. Ambitious, yes. I plan to use AI and crypto for the greater good. ( Ok that last one was a joke, sorta ) So, am I just delusional?
